Shimadzu Vietnam is a subsidiary company of Shimadzu Corporation, which was founded in 1875 in Kyoto, Japan.
The subsidiary, which was established in 1997 in Hanoi as a Joint Venture company for Medical Diagnostic Imaging Equipment named Shimadzu Vietnam Medical Hi-Tech Co., Ltd, has provided high quality medical equipment and after-sales services to all provinces in Vietnam.
In 2020, Shimadzu Vietnam Co., Ltd newly have started as 100% Shimadzu owned company, and took over all Shimadzu Vietnam Medical Hi-Tech Co., Ltd’s business.
Shimadzu has globally contributed to people’s health and the social environment for over 140 years based on corporate philosophy “Contributing to Society through Science and Technology”.
We will continue to focus on creating and providing innovative Shimadzu products, after-sales services, and applications and grow together with Vietnamese society.

Shimadzu Vietnam Co., Ltd is a subsidiary of Shimadzu Corporation, founded in 1875 in Kyoto, Japan. Shimadzu Corporation well-known as a pioneer of medical X-ray systems in Japan established a Vietnamese subsidiary in 1997 in Hanoi, and opened HCMC Branch Office in 2000.
We have provided approx. 1,900 high quality medical imaging products in Vietnam. We have provided not only high quality products but also high quality after-sales services to all provinces in Vietnam, and we will continue to provide innovative products and services.
