HOA VIET SCHOLARSHIP – SHARING AND ACCOMPANYING, 5TH EDITION – YEAR 2020

“HOA VIET – SHARING AND EMPOWERING” is an annual scholarship fund to JOIN HANDS IN NURTURING DREAMS that Hoa Viet Co., Ltd. awards to students studying at the Faculty of Chemistry – University of Science (VNU-HCM).

Starting from 2016, the Scholarship Fund has now reached its 5-year milestone, marking the same number of years accompanying underprivileged students who continuously strive, persevere, and make relentless efforts on their journey to achieve their dreams.
Hoa Viet Co., Ltd. awards Chemistry Faculty students 12 scholarships in the academic year 2020 – 2021 with specific requirements as follows:

1. Eligibility:

• All students of the Faculty of Chemistry, University of Science, VNU-HCM.
• Difficult family circumstances
• Good academic spirit and results in the academic year 2019-2020 (for second-year students and above); good performance in the National High School Exam for first-year students.
• Actively participate in student activities and movements; priority given to students who have received university-level awards or higher (5-Merit Student, Outstanding Academic Achievement), and Youth Union/Student Association leaders.
• Have not received any scholarship from other organizations or individuals in the academic year 2019 – 2020.

2. Scholarship value: 12 scholarships, valued at 3.000.000 VND/scholarship

(Including: 07 scholarships for students with permanent residence in flood-affected Central provinces and 05 scholarships for other provinces and cities).

3. Scholarship application documents:

• Handwritten CV describing family circumstances and personal efforts. Students fill in the information by hand on the university's standard form.
• Conduct / training score transcript for the academic year 2019 – 2020
• Certificate of difficult family circumstances (if any)
• Copies of certificates, awards, and commendations (if any)

Note: All documents do not need to be notarized; for academic transcripts, the company accepts direct printouts from the academic affairs office website.

4. Application procedure:

• Step 1: Students scan all scholarship application documents listed in Section 3 and send them to the email address: hoaitam@hoaviet.vn; Cc emails: hoaviet@hoaviet.vn, nguyenhong@hoaviet.vn.
  (Hoa Viet will respond by email within 24 hours of receipt).

• Step 2: Submit hard-copy application
  After completing the online submission via email, students please submit the application documents in Section 3 to the Faculty Office (meet Ms. Quynh Nhu).
• Deadline to complete application steps: 12h00, Monday, 16/11/2020
• Scholarship recipient list announcement: Thursday, 19/11/2020

Scholarship Award Ceremony: 8h00, Saturday, 21/11/2020, University of Science, Campus 2, Linh Trung - Thu Duc (tentative) (within the framework of the Vietnamese Teachers' Day Celebration)
